Processing of Precious Metals
- STEP 1 - Preparing equipment to melt gold
- STEP 2 - Viewing the melting gold from top of the furnace exhaust to check melting activity
- STEP 3 - Furnace at 2500°F gold melts in approximately 18 minutes.
- STEP 4 - The mold to pour gold into is clean and heated to accept the gold.
- STEP 5 - Gold is completely liquid and is ready to pour.
- STEP 6 - The liquid gold turns solid instantly upon pouring.
